Who: Vincenzo and Matteo Lorenzi
What: Family Business
Where: Matty's apartment
When: Monday morning
It was after 11am and Vincenzo was still in bed. He didn't have a whole lot of intentions of getting up, either. Things with New York had been okay at first. Then they got awesome. Then the brakes were slammed on when Harry got sick, and it felt awful. Vince had already been struggling not being able to play piano, but homesickness began to set in. Other things snowballed, and it was hard to keep his spirits up. His dad had been going to come over from Italy as soon as the news broke that Harry had been diagnosed with Type I Diabetes, just like Nick. Because that's what their family did. They rallied around and supported everyone when something happened with one of their own. It's what they did after Vince's accident. He had come-to in hospital to a roomful of Italians wanting to take care of him and feed him.
But his dad got held up with his work and hadn't been able to fly out yet. Soon, but not yet. Harry was feeling a little better, but Vince didn't want to visit him. All he wanted to do was lie in bed and wallow. Sleep and wallow. Then sleep some more. He had gotten up the day before, but all he did was sit on the couch and binge-watch Netflix. He had VIP tickets so see some Broadway show, he didn't want to do that. He checked his phone, cleared some notifs and messages from Brody, and rolled back over in bed to stare at the wall.
