"We understand each other..."

Who? Will Jackson and Tristan Hewitt
What? Understanding
When?Tuesday morning
Where? Tristan's apartment
If Will didn't confess to being a little bit nervous, he would've been lying. Tristan Hewitt wasn't modeling anymore, but he'd been a supermodel, known throughout the whole world. But it wasn't his celebrity Will was nervous about. Justin was a celebrity. They were normal people... at least the ones who weren't twonks like the Kardashians, but Tristan didn't seem like a twonk at all. In fact, as soon as Will had chatted to him a bit on Facebook about things, he'd invited him over to his home to chat, though he warned that he'd been pretty sick with the flu.
That didn't stop Will, though, and he had let his mum know where he was going, because after his little hospital fiasco, she was a lot more nervous about his health and safety. As if a kid in remission from leukemia needed more reasons for his mum and dad to worry. But it sort of was what it was at this point. Mums were entitled to worry. But Will went on to the address he'd been given, and buzzed Tristan's apartment. When he was welcomed in by the former supermodel, Will gave him a grateful smile. "I really appreciate you taking time out to see me. I know you probably have a million things going on at any given time. Justin said you're always busy with your work for his mum's magazine. But it means a lot that you're meeting up with me. Shit, I'm Will, by the way," he finally added, reaching out to shake Tristan's hand.

Who? Rhett George and Max Sullivan
What? Closure
When? Monday night, simultaneous to Leo and Jace's visit
Where? Ali and Andy's place
Rhett wasn't sure exactly how any of this was going to go down. He knew without a doubt that he needed to talk to Max, and that he wouldn't really get closure until he did, but it was no easy thing to do facing the mistakes that you'd made in the past with someone that you genuinely cared for and loved. Max had moved on and found a lovely guy from what Gabe had told him, and Rhett didn't want any unfinished business between himself and Max to interfere with his own newly-beginning relationship with Tristan. They both needed to meet face to face to talk out the past, or, at least Rhett knew, that he himself would never fully move on from it.
Which was what brought him to Ali's door. When the FBI agent answered, she didn't exactly bitch him out, but it was very clear that she wanted to be sure that he wasn't going to upset Max. Rhett assured her that he'd just come to talk, and that he knew that Max had a boyfriend and wouldn't dare to try to do anything to hurt him. It was only when she was satisfied with that that she allowed Rhett to go in to see Max. He had a room of his own at Ali's, and when Rhett and Ali knocked on the door and were told to come in, they found Max sitting on the floor playing Legos with his little niece. Ali called Sunshine to join her in the kitchen for chocolate milk while Rhett and Max had a chat, and Rhett stood in the doorway awkwardly when mother and daughter disappeared down the hallway. "Hi," he finally said when Max was looking at him. "Long time no see."

Who: Jace Hartley and Leo Bronson
What: BFF Business
Where: Hartley/Turner/Casey Home
When: Monday night
Jace had one of THOSE days. He was shaky and off-colour when he woke up, and it resulted in Jesse parking him on the sofa with a pile of pillows, the remote, his laptop, and Emphatic Husband Orders to stay put. No one liked him up and about when he was feeling like this because it could be a warning of seizures coming. They hadn't so far, though. And Jesse had to leave for work after dinner, so Jace generally didn't go to bed without him when he did nights. He would stay up all night doing whatever, and then sleep with Jesse in the day. That was one upside to being disabled. You could have whatever schedule you needed to. Jace had been doing that as long as Jesse had been living with him.
Evan was at work, but Christian was home. Jace was still being an epic waste of space on the sofa when the doorbell rang, and even though he was going to get up to answer, Christian came through with Surrogate Husband Orders (that Jesse had taught Evan and Christian very well, apparently) to stay put and he would get it. "The sofa is going to be permanently shaped like my ass, you know!" Jace was calling out to Christian, just as he came back through with Leo. "Oh, hey. Wait, I knew you were coming. I did." He didn't really, he was just trying to convince himself that he actually remembered. Not that that ever worked.

Who: Brendan Drake and Trey Wilson
What: Those three words
Where: Surgical Unit, Mount Sinai
When: After THIS
There was just absolutely no way Brendan could stomach the hospital coffee. He had given it three attempts, but he couldn't do it to himself. He wanted real coffee or real tea, so with Trey asleep, he had taken a quick trip to a nearby coffee shop and got a cup of real tea. That made him feel much better than coffee. He wasn't generally a huge coffee drinker. Born and bred an Englishman, tea was his preference, but he had needed a bit of a boost after being up since around 2.30am when Kyan had called him to tell him Trey was really sick and needed to go to the hospital.
At that point, they didn't know it was appendix. Kyan had said Trey was burning up and he couldn't stop being sick. Apparently he wasn't all that different to when he had the first allergic reaction to booze, but Kyan insisted Trey wouldn't have been drinking. Brendan knew Trey had been feeling sick. Trey had sent him a text the morning before and told him he wasn't feeling well. Brendan had work scheduled, but promised to drop by to see Trey afterwards. When he had gotten there, Kyan had told him Trey was sleeping, so Brendan didn't want to bother him.
He hadn't seen any of this coming, but there was no doubt he was going to get out of bed and meet them at the hospital. By the time Trey was being seen in the ER, his appendix had ruptured and he was rushed into emergency surgery. Turned out that once they were inside, they found it was a pretty nasty infection that had gotten into his belly and it was why he had been really sick. He would be in hospital for around a week while he was given a heavy cocktail of antibiotics and kept a close eye on him. Infections like that could turn to septicaemia.
Coming back with his tea, Brendan found Trey awake and he gave him a small, sympathetic smile. "Hey, you're awake this time," he murmured and came over to Trey to analyse more closely how he was doing. "How are you feeling? I would say you look better than you did last night, but not so much with that just yet."

Hey, beautiful. Thinking about you. Hope you have a good night at work. Do you wanna come over after? I think we're having an '80s movie marathon in celebration of Billy's good news, starting with The Goonies because he says he'll probably fall asleep in the middle of them and he can't fall asleep during The Goonies because it's blasphemy. Apparently Goonies never say sleep. :P
