Who: Mark Campbell and Gen Hart with Justin Campbell and Sasha Stanford
What: Back in the dangerzone
Where: Home, NYC
When: Thursday night

It was yet another hard night and Mark sat on the side of the bed, head nursed in his hands as he tried to ground himself again. It was nights like this he was glad he was wealthy enough to give his kid the best medical care he could get. That still never diluted the shock to the system that came when Justin’s condition deteriorated quickly. Justin had been working that evening, though Mark had really wanted him to take the night off after what happened at the Halloween party. As agreed, Justin had gone back to his four-on/four-off roster, working the Friday night, Saturday night, and two Sunday shows. This week, he agreed to work Thursday too, because the understudy had been off during the week having a small medical procedure. So, Ari took him to work and Mark was adamant he didn’t want Justin doing Stage Door. It was the claustrophobic crowds that set Justin’s anxiety off at the party. He needed all the support systems on full-steam at the moment. It was one of those nights everyone living at the apartment was at home so there was a lot going on. The living room was the hub, a binge-watch of Netflix in the process when Justin came home. There was coffee and tea on the go, takeout Chinese food had been on the menu for dinner with the aroma still lingering in the air. There was chatting and laughing. It was typical of a house full of teenagers.

Justin had come home from work. No one realised anything was off when he first arrived, but he came into the living room and just stood there for a few moments like he was trying to remember what he was going to say... )

Who: Gen Hart and Justin Campbell
What: Happily Ever After-like
Where: Bridal Boutique, NYC
When: Friday

Justin woke up with a hangover. It was surreal because it had been so long since he had one of those he had forgotten how they felt. It wasn’t like he didn’t have plenty of other things to make him feel like shit in its place but booze hangovers were never pleasant. Especially not mixed with everything else he was dragged through yesterday and last night. A hangover coupled with the after-effects of activated charcoal made for a really awful morning for him. And probably for Sasha, who copped the brunt of his mood. It all woke him somewhere around five am, and most of the next three hours were spent in the bathroom. That really didn’t help his mood either, so when he started to recover, he went back to bed, pulled the covers over his head and went back to sleep.

He slept some of it off and got up around 1pm... )
