Who: Mark and Justin Campbell
What: Relief
Where: Campbell/Hart apartment, NYC
When: After THIS

Mark hadn't meant to get upset at his son. It had just been a side effects of his terror finding Justin's hospital bed empty. Because of the recent suicide attempt, of course he had thought the worst. By the time he was there, his emotions were worn bare and he had been about to completely lose his shit. Though, not until they located his kid. For a short while there, he had been absolutely fucking terrified they were going to find Justin's body somewhere, and as a result, he had snapped at Justin through text and Justin understandably snapped back.

With the confirmation was still breathing, and had actually walked out of the hospital and gone home, Mark told the staff at the hospital and asked them to keep Justin's room for him. He hoped like hell he would be able to talk Justin around because his medication needed reassessing. Justin's psychiatrist wanted to commence him on a slower-release anti-psychotic drug via daily injections. She hoped the slow releasing medication would balance these slips in his mood that triggered a psychosis. No matter how hard it was, the signs were clear that Justin had psychosis and probably had for years. Just because something hadn't been medically documented or treated because his fucking mother didn't realise anything was wrong with him, didn't mean it hadn't been happening.

As soon as Mark got home, he went straight to Justin's room and found his son wrapped up in a cocoon of covers in his bed. He wasn't well, mentally or physically, and all Mark could do was just go over to him and lean over to wrap him in a tight hug, not wanting to let go. "You gave me a hell of a fright, kiddo. You have to understand that. You really need to be back in hospital."

I've managed to stick my nose in far enough on Tanner's case and had one of my best attorney's allocated as his Independent Child's Representative for his parental and custody hearing.
