Who? Eli Martinez and Jonathan Maxwell
What? Unexpected meetings
When? Early afternoon
Where? Central Park
Eli's bench-warming in Central Park alone and nursing a coffee, trying to figure out if he likes the place or not. In the end, he just figures it's too much effort to think about it, and gets up to dump his coffee in the nearest trash can before pulling his hoodie up over his head. He couldn't help but wonder what the stories of the people milling around were... but not enough to feel safe enough to stick around.
Central Park wasn't a place that Jonathan spent a hell of a lot of time anymore. Since he'd moved to New York several years before, the park always struck him as a nice place, but it just wasn't convenient to his work or his apartment. But for whatever reason, today, he felt like going somewhere that almost felt like it wasn't quite in the City, even if Central Park was somewhat fake in the grand scheme, considering it was right in the middle of the City. Just the same, he was out for a relaxing stroll with a hot cup of tea. It was a gorgeous day out, and as he made his way down the pathway, he glanced up, and the shock of the face he saw was so great that he stopped short, for a moment just staring as if he were losing his mind.
( These days, Eli tended to walk with his eyes averted down... )

5. He made me laugh harder than anyone ever has
6. I could tell himalmost everything
7. He knew when I was feeling like crap
8. There didn't need to be a why we worked, we just did
9. I knew I was safe with him
10. I was scared to lose him... even if I did anyway
