Liam woke up slowly, trying to get his bearings of where he was. It was a foreign bed but the ruffled covers wrapped around him and the messed up spot beside him reminded he hadn't slept alone, even if he was alone in the bed now. He was tempted to roll over and go back to sleep but once he checked the time on his phone, he realised it was close to midday. He slept the whole morning away but the fact he and Damien had been up most of the night, he wasn't surprised. He felt more relaxed than he had in a long time so he wasn't in any hurry for this to be over.
But he needed to go to the bathroom and take a shower. He squirted some toothpaste onto his toothbrush and stepped into the shower cubicle once the water was hot enough. It wasn't as strong a spray as his shower back home but it was still enough to wake him up. He was used to multitasking brushing his teeth in the shower always being stretched for time with his crazy shifts. He had just finished brushing when there was a knock on the cubicle door. Pushing it open, he smiled at Damien. "Why do I get the feeling you aren't here to sell me Girl Scout cookies?" He stepped back so Damien could join him in the shower.
Liam didn't at all expect it to lead to a round of extremely hot and heavy shower sex, but that's exactly what happened. Something intense had reignited between them and this time, he didn't have an anxiety attack anticipating it. He made the first move and took the lead, even. The only thing that ultimately got them out of the shower was the water started to run cold so they quickly washed before it turned icy. He stepped out of the shower and grabbed a towel, tying it around his waist. "So, what are we supposed to do after that?" he asked with a laugh. "I'm starving, though. You want to grab something to eat?"
