Cruising the south of France in a luxury yacht for our honeymoon. Holy shit, is this lifestyle out of my comfort zone.

Who: Noah and Euan Fitzpatrick
What: Advice
Where: Home, NYC
When: After this

Ever since his long stay in hospital in a coma, Noah suffered pain and fatigue that had become normal for him. It meant some days he didn't function too well at all, and others, he would nap for a few hours in the afternoon when his energy drained. Today was one of those days, though he hadn't intended it to be. He had been lying down, texting with Kip, when he must have fallen asleep in the middle of the conversation. It was after six when he woke up, stiff and uncomfortable from sleeping in the same spot too long. His face even hurt from the deep creases in his cheek from the pillow. His phone lay beside him on the bed, but when he checked it, the battery was dead.

He plugged it in to charge on his nightstand and after using the bathroom and washing his face, he went downstairs to see if anyone was home. Because of Euan and Julie's busy work schedules, he had the place to himself now and again. Ciaran was at school or he and Caley frequently spent time with Euan's brother and his family, or Julie's family (there were many of them in New York). Family was a big thing regardless. There wasn't a day that passed where Noah still couldn't believe they were his family now. Days like today, he was more glad of that than ever.

Euan was there in the living room, nursing Caley in his arms and feeding her a bottle with the TV on low. The rest of the house seemed silent. "Hey," he murmured, careful to keep his voice down so he didn't disturb the baby if Euan would be soon trying to get her down. "Where is everyone?" he asked, flopping down on the sofa and stretching out.
