Caring for someone could take on many forms. It just so happened that doing laundry was one of them. Like many, Sasha wasn't exactly a fan of doing laundry, but his mom had given him a Mom Talk before he came to stay with Justin and his dad about being a guest boarding with someone else and ensuring he pulled his weight with things like chores, cooking, and laundry. Typically, he was a messy teenager. This wasn't a typical situation, and he wanted to prove he could be mature and responsible here. That was the territory the needed proving right now, with him trying to step up and show he could take care of Justin when he was sick. Or even when he wasn't. Just in general. It was the little things. That was what mattered.
( Justin had an appointment with his psychiatrist, so his dad took him along to that. Sasha got busy doing all their laundry, unstacking the dishwasher, and changing the bed clothes on Justin's bed. Then he sort of felt a bit lost, worrying how Justin was getting on... )
