Who: Just Justin Campbell
What: Turning point
Where: Home
When: Saturday morning

It had been just under two weeks since an exclusive interview from Justin had been published in his mom's magazine. It was Harley who had interviewed him and written the story because Justin hadn't felt comfortable with any of the other journalists. But he knew Harley, because he had met him a few times when he had visited the HQ of the magazine and he followed Harley's column religiously. Harley was one of those people who was an inspiration, with serious health problems himself, but had quickly gotten a large fan base with his column in FABULOUS writing about the inside life of starting a modelling career. So, it was Harley who Justin wanted to interview him with the daunting task of going public about his bipolar and touching on what happened to postpone his work on Footloose.

He hadn't been ready to give a live interview of any sort. In fact, he had been laid up with mono for the last few weeks and had been contagious, so it was impossible anyway. Harley had come to the apartment and they spent the afternoon just chatting, Justin opening up to him about a lot of different things that wouldn't even be in the interview. It hadn't been easy getting to the part about the bipolar, but he had gotten there. Harley had been great, and ultimately, the story had gone viral but since it was published, his parents with Aiden and his company's help had put up tough protective walls around Justin so he wasn't impacted on too directly. His mental health did still need to be protected, even if he was recovering from the latest episode.

Since the article was published, though, a ridiculous amount of fan mail had begun to arrive for him at both the magazine office and the theatre Footloose was at... )

Who: Jake Gresham and Alice King
What: "It must have been good, but I lost is somehow."
Where: Jake & Joey's apartment
When: After THIS

Jake really didn't expect Alice to come. She had no obligation to him for anything after he caused the end of their engagement by cheating on her with Joey. He had never tried to justify his actions, he had wholeheartedly admitted he screwed up. There was no way to justify it, and he wasn't sure he could truly explain it to himself. Initially, he had just convinced himself that sleeping with Joey was placating the bi side him him; he was in love with Alice but he still liked sleeping with guys too. That was stupid, though, because he had been so content with Alice for a long time before he started having the affair. Then he wondered if he was in love with both of them, but he had talked himself out of the fact he could have feelings for Joey. Yet, he couldn't quit him. He wished he had seen so much sooner what his heart was trying to tell him, and avoid all the mess he had made.

When there was a knock at the door of the apartment he had Joey had only been in for less than a week, he had been sitting on the sofa with a shirtless Joey's head in his lap. He had caught some sort of bug and Jake had been taking care of him most of the day. He had been feverish and in and out of various states of dressed and undressed all day. Jake got up to answer the door just across the room. It wasn't a huge apartment, but it suited them. Way better than the first option Jake had found when he got to New York and hated it.

Opening the door, Jake baulked when he saw Alice there, surprised she took him up on his offer. "Oh - hi," he greeted her and then stepped aside. "Come in." Joey noticed who their guest was and gingerly peeled himself up off the sofa with a mumbled, 'I'll leave you two to it.' He picked up the trash can he had spent a good part of the day hugging and disappeared up the hall and into their bedroom.

That was where it got a little awkward, with Jake closing the door over behind Alice, clearing his throat softly. "I wasn't sure if you would want to come," he admitted softly. "Do you want tea, coffee?"

Who: Jace Turner with Jesse Hartley
What: "You can steal my mind, twist it for awhile..."
Where: Home
When: Saturday night

When Jace decided he was going to cry, he was the sort who really cried. Lately, it barely happened. In fact, the last time he cried was when Jesse had that bad fit on the sidewalk right in the middle of New York and it had scared the living shit out of him. He cried because he felt like being scared was letting Jesse down, but they talked it out and Jesse managed to help him realise that it was okay to be scared, because the fits were scary, no matter how much anyone witnessed them.

Tonight, though, it was something entirely different. Jesse was in the kitchen making them dinner, and Jace went to the bathroom believing that he just wanted to wash his face. He was still hazy and a little unsteady, but he was back on his feet and out of bed. It was a lot of progress for him on his bad days. Only, when he was in there, he had another epic brain fart and turned the hot water on instead of the cold. Putting his hands under, he scalded them a little and it had the floodgates bursting open. It started with a small sob, and the next thing, he was sitting on the floor by the bath tub in tears, crying his heart out.

The bad day, the frustration and anger at himself for a lapse in his functioning, and then Jesse telling him the guy who had been a passenger in the car that hit him had come to see him... it was too much... )
