Who: Justin Campbell with a few others
What: That awkward moment where your dad is a stubborn pain in the ass
Where: Currently Mount Sinai Hospital
When: Throughtout Thursday, now evening
Justin was sitting was pacing back and forth in one of the hospital waiting rooms not sure whether he wanted to cry, wet his pants, throw up, or hit something. Right now, his mood was telling him that any or all of those could be a distinct possibility. There were only a handful of other people in the waiting room, but Justin was keeping well clear of them, pacing near the entrance to wait for someone - anyone - to either come tell him his dad was okay or to come keep him company until someone did.
It just all happen so quickly. Well, sort of. Justin had known very early in the day that his dad just shouldn't have gone to work. Once Gen left for work that morning, his dad had gotten dressed for work all looking professional and stuff, then asked Justin if he wanted to come to his office for a few hours to meet the people he worked with. Justin could use the internet or watch TV there if he wanted. Justin thought it was the coolest thing ever, and when he asked his dad if he was okay to be going to work because, frankly, he still looked like death warmed up, predictably, his dad said he was feeling much better and there was nothing to worry about.
( There was nothing to worry about for a few hours anyway... )

Been a hell of a night. I don't think Gen's going to manage to get Justin home tonight, considering the kid fell asleep with his head on the side of Mark's bed.
In other news, my twin needs a good thump and I need my bed because ow.
