Jeff was a little nervous. He couldn't deny that. But he was more than happy to do as Nick had directed and go to the Children's Unit at Mt. Sinai to meet this Rhys person. The truth was, with things all in a mess, Jeff had somewhat lost track of what he wanted and who he was, and that was a painful thing for him. It wasn't his way at all to turn his back on his friends or hurt people that he cared about, and he was sick with the realization that he'd managed to hurt a lot of people in a lot of ways by not being around or reaching out when he should've been... Things that wouldn't have usually been an issue with him.

So he'd followed Nick's directions and was waiting where a nice nurse had told him to wait while she went to get Rhys for him. He was incredibly nervous, too... until the nurse returned with Buzz Lightyear at her side. Jeff couldn't say what was going on, but the costume certainly took a little of the edge off his nerves here.
