To Fin, this place was probably as close to heaven as you could get near New York City. It wasn't a ranch like he had grown up on back home, but there were stables with connecting paddocks that housed horses right along a dirt track leading to a beautiful farmhouse. Beyond that, there was a paddock with cows, and back at the main house of the property, there had been chickens wandering around free range like they owned the place. Fin had spent most of the time since getting out of the car with his mouth hanging open, and he had still been doing the same as he squinted up at the lady in jodhpurs with his hand shielding the afternoon sun while she explain her horse business to them.
( They walked a little way down the tracks to the gates leading into the horse paddocks... )
