Who? Emily Cole, Lincoln Cole, and Clint Chevalier
What? Making it right
When? Sunday Morning
Where? Lorenzo's place

Emily had tossed and turned all night Saturday night. Hell, she'd been tossing and turning a lot lately. Things just hadn't been right, and she knew a hell of a lot of that was her own doing, though she couldn't know for sure why. Was it because of the fact that she'd come so close to dying, only to be saved by Angela? Or was it because in her fear and inability to cope, she'd pushed Angela away? Being in danger wasn't new to her. She and Clint were in danger most of the time. It was a life they'd chosen, and she was damn proud of what they'd been able to accomplish together. Something had been different the day it happened with Angela, though. Something that she couldn't really wrap her head around or explain, and to this day, she hadn't been able to put a finger on it or stop it. It had cost her Angela, and while she hoped she might one day have the chance to get her back, it wouldn't be fair until she had at least some idea of why she'd hurt her in the first place.

At the moment, though, there was the heavy weight on her mind that her brother and her husband/best friend were put out with her. They'd had enough of the moping, whining, self-centered bitch she'd become, and to be quite honest, so had Emily herself. Clint was sick, and instead of her normal, which would've been to immediately get to wherever he was and help, she had been telling Linc to take care of him, and being a pathetic excuse for family. That was what had her up, first thing on a Sunday morning, with a hot thermos of thin broth that she hoped Clint could keep down, standing outside Lorenzo's door. She didn't ring the buzzer, not wanting to wake Holly if she was still asleep, but she sent a text to Linc. I'm outside. Can you let me in?
