Justin had only been back at work a few days, but it had been crazy. Caden was trying to get everyone prepared to go on the road to Australia to do the show in Sydney for three weeks. Then there was trying to get used to a new understudy. As much as Justin knew Jeff was capable, he found the actually trying to work with someone new again stressful so he had to do it in short spurts. Kyan had been on-hand with more one-on-one training with Jeff. But then the shit hit the fan with Autumn's brother, and basically, everything just felt like shit right now and it was a struggle for Justin not to go underground again because it was feeling so overwhelmed from many angles.
What was stopping was - miraculously - a tiny furball that Justin now had in the Puppy Sling Ali and Andrew had given him as a 'puppy warming gift'. Justin had laughed at first, but it actually turned out to be incredibly helpful to him in taking Dory places with him. She loved it, and it stopped Justin getting all anxious she would get squashed or hurt because she was so small. He did walk her on a lead, but taking her places, she could get lost or trodden on. He had just become sort of an extension of him and people were realising she was part of the team now.
He only brought her to the Park now and again. With his status rising, he was more at risk of being recognised in New York and that was too overwhelming in the aftermath of what he had just been through. His nerves were kind of shot, and he hadn't really recovered from his dad falling sick and being petrified he would die. He was keeping his therapists in meals, to say the least. He stopped at a vendor to get a can of Diet Coke and then went to the place he agreed to meet up with Will. He wasn't sure how he was feeling about all this. 'Conflicted' was probably the best description. He found Will sitting on a bench and headed over to sit beside him. "Hey."
