Who: Justin Campbell and Will Jackson
What: "You're the only one who really knew me at all."
Where: Oncology Unit, Mount Sinai
When: After THIS
The thing about Justin bolting out of the middle of a dress-rehearsal? Meant he was still dressed as Ren when arrived at the hospital, complete with the red rhinestone Converse high tops. What that also meant was that as he was hurrying through the busy main foyer of the hospital, he was suddenly swarmed by a group of fans wanting to take photos with him. The irony, it was fucking painful. But the situation was also very telling when Justin just brushed them off with a, "Sorry, I don't have time to stop right now. Keep an eye on my Twitter, we have some fan meets coming up." And that was that. He swept through them all and found hospital security was stepping in to help him and he was escorted up to the Oncology Unit so no one else would get up in his face.
There would probably be rumours and speculation online soon enough about why the hell he was at the hospital dressed in costume, but he didn't care. Let them invent the rumours. It wouldn't be the first time. In the elevator, he now had a chance to reply to the text messages his dad had sent him. Obviously the team at the theatre put out the Batcall to his dad when he did a runner, and it was known that people should be wary if he started to act strangely. He wasn't pissed off at them, it was fair enough. It wasn't normal behaviour for him to walk out of a rehearsal without explanation. He told his dad he was okay, it was Will who was in hospital. He had to see him.
It was with his phone still in his hand and flanked by a couple of security guards that Justin arrived at Will's room, the number which had been included in Toby's text to him that had alerted Justin to the fact Will was sick and in hospital having cancer tests again. Was it any wonder Justin just reacted? How could he not? Though, now he was here, he just sort of balked in the doorway of the room and met Will's gaze for the first time since their terrible fight.
