Who: Lewis Sheldon, Jude Willis and Lorenzo Chevalier
What: Re-assessing the ground rules
Where: Lewis' apartment
When: Wednesday morning
It had been a looooong night. Holly had been unsettled and just when either Lewis or Lorenzo thought they managed to get her down after her feed, she would start crying again. Now it was morning and Lorenzo wanted coffee. No, needed coffee. He had taken a shower and still came out looking like he hadn't slept in a week. Holly had been crying - again - but while Lorenzo was in the shower, Lewis had managed to settled her down to just grizzly whimpers. With Lorenzo in the kitchen trying to remember how to work Lewis' top of the range super-techo kettle, the doorbell rang and Lewis went to answer it.
It was a later hour of the morning than they had realised. There had been a brief couple of hours that all three of them had crashed out before the baby cries started again. Lewis was just in boxer-briefs because he had gotten up out of bed to get Holly. She was still in her little fluffy pink onesie pyjamas she had gone to bed in after her bath the night before and she had one finger wrapped around Lewis' and her teary face smooshed in against Lewis' shoulder as she had finally stopped crying. Lewis had her nursed easily in his arms when he answered the door, but when he saw who was there, his eyebrows shot up. Lorenzo was in the adjoining kitchen, swearing and cursing at the kettle, and bitching about his lack of smokes. Lewis had quickly learnt that his boyfriend was very much not a morning person.
"Jude?" he said in surprised, not at all expecting him to have been the one at the door. "Come in..."
