The biggest part of Reecy right now was that she couldn’t believe she had ended up in a situation like this. She was sitting here in an OB/GYN office waiting to have an abortion. She was riddled with a messy mix of emotions, but guilt seemed to be the horse first out of the gate and leaving the others behind. At least, for now. She didn’t know how she would feel later. It was unlikely she was going to regret the decision like many probably did. There was nothing that had happened of late that convinced her bringing a child from a very unexpected and unplanned pregnancy into the world was a good idea.
( The clinic smelled weird. For some reason, that made it even more intimidating... )
