Hey, Jess. Sorry, I know it's the middle of the night & I dunno if you'll even get this but Merlin's really unwell. I dunno if I should wait until morning to take him to a doctor or take him to the hospital tonight which he doesn't wanna do. Or even just get an ambulance. He's in a lot of pain. I'm freaking tf out.

His stomach. It started earlier today but it seemed to be manageable. Now it's much worse and he's being sick every half hour or so. I don't think it's what Liam's got. Not the same symptoms. It seems worse than a usual flare-up for him too and not the usual symptoms either. Should I just take him to the hospital?

Do you want me to come over and give him a check-over? I can be there in 20. I'll be able to ascertain if he needs urgent care of if it can wait until morning.

No, no. Jeezus. It's the middle of the night. I can't get you out of bed to come over here. Just tell me what you'd do if it was Jace. I just don't know if it's just a really bad flare-up because I've been stressing him out or something else. How am I supposed to know when the symptoms can be a pile of other shit? He's been insisting it's NBD and everything from stress, not pooping, and needing to fart. Which was briefly amusing but now he's almost crying curled up in the fetal position in bed because there's so much pain. Like, we know he has condition but how do you know if it's just that or something more serious?

I'm coming over, buddy. Leaving now. Hold tight. You tell by having him checked and from what you're telling me, it could be something he needs urgent care for. It might even just be something simple like appendicitis but still, an emergency to treat it.

It's only a just-in-case thing. I don't want to prematurely alarm you about anything. If he's not keeping anything down, it's probably counter-productive anyway. If he needs to get to the hospital, they'll put him on IV fluids. I know it's easier said than done, by try not to panic. I'm on my way to help. Okay?
