I want to go on it, and Riley wants me to talk to you about it first. I know it's about 92% effective, and I know that I have to be careful because I only have one kidney... I've read about it, but I want to know if I'm missing important stuff.

He's not really freaked out, so much as generally a very over-cautious person with high consciousness of his condition. PrEP probably won't change that too much. You have to be prepared for the possibility that it might not ultimately do anything to change the situation.

I understand that, really. He's a doctor. He knows every gritty detail of what it means and how it can be transmitted, more than anyone else would. I know that it might not change things, but if it can help in any way, I want to do it.

What are the worst side effects of it? Honestly, dude, I think I'm already at peace with things. I know he's Positive. I know it's possible for him to infect me. I'm not afraid of it. I just have a healthy respect for it.
