Brought Ajay home from his appointment. He barely said anything, got back to the apartment he crashed out in bed.

Should I be worried...?

I wouldn't be too worried, buddy. It was an intensive session, he's probably just emotionally drained.

Both. You need to dig through the bad to find a way to get to the good. But Ajay knows this, he has had experience with therapists in the past. No, don't stress about his eating habits or it will just stress him out. He's in a deep exacerbation of his condition, so he's not going to eat normally. He has given me permission to talk to you about how to help him if you need to.

It's early days, but he was comfortable discussing the ground work with me. But like I said, it was intensive and he was quite upset a lot of the time. It's going to be a work-in-progress for awhile. I don't think it would freak him out, he probably just won't understand why you do. He doesn't understand why anyone likes him, it's the illness. He said quite a few times he doesn't know why you want to help him because he doesn't deserve it.

I'm going to work closely with another doctor to really examine his physical health. He won't get better trying to do it with piecemeal support. That's what it boils down to. He has two big demons. Food, and himself. He was apologising to you because he cares what impact this is having on you.
