Well, see, Rosie read on a mommy blog that having sex could start labour, because she's so overdue and we were booked in for a C-Section on Monday. So, we might have maybe been trying the theory because she had a bad backache all day because she basically cleaned the apartment from top to bottom, and then some. And then... it was just happening! She wanted to push and the paramedics didn't have the chance to get here! She's 6lbs, 8ozs at she was born about 10.08pm.

I think so. Maybe not really. I think it's going to hit me later when all teh dust settles. I still can't believe this happening and I'm a daddy. She's the most beautiful little thing I've ever seen.
They want to monitor overnight in NICU, just to be sure. She seems fine, though. Fuck, I can't believe all this is happening. We're going to bring her to see you, okay. As soon as they sign her off as fine.
Standard procedure. Is Nate working tonight? He'll take excellent care of her. I can't wait. But you and Rosie have plenty of time alone with her too. You need that bonding time. It's okay to wait a little on visitors so you guys don't get overwhelmed.
He is, thank god. I have this tight anxiety about who I let near her. I'm all new to this. Plus, we have a lot of added security on the ward because of batshit cray fans. I don't want any of them near my family. I didn't think about that. Maybe we should take a bit of time together to wrap our heads around this.
That's just your daddy instincts kicking in. You guys need your privacy, so if extra security is the way to do it, so be it. You're going to be exhausted, both of you. Are you going to have a private suite and stay with them?

If I'm honest, it sounds like a great idea. We're just still in WTFOMG territory right now. Rosie's tired. She has been for weeks with her being overdue.
