When one of your kids passes out twice in an hour, you have to resist the urge to call paramedics, SWAT and possibly the military for back up to make sure they're okay.

He's always been open to help for sure. But he doesn't want to be a bother. He told me that once... Broke my heart that thinking asking for normal things from us was being a bother.

You were. You've been a lifeline to him since the day he walked into our lives. He adapted to me, then to the twins, but you were his safe place when he didn't think that he'd ever be safe again.

No, he didn't. It makes sense with what we know now. He told me once that seeing me with the triplets is what made him feel safe with me.

Aside from him being too old to enjoy that duct tape thing I did to Brett. He's a part of the family. He has been since he got here, whether he believed it or not himself. But it didn't take him very long.
