They're going to have to. He's been objecting. I'm waiting for him to open the lines of communication. Not a word. He's not here. Any news on a time of death yet?

They're withholding it until we get the evidence the corpse is linked to the kid. If it ain't, we got no business sticking our noses into their investigation.

You're just going to have to leave it with me. He's ill from the PEP and the shock had him vomiting badly. I need time. He needs time.

Just keep me in the loop, love. I need to know what's going on to call the right shots. In your opinion, what do you think your chances of convincing him are?

I will. There's just no loop yet. He's safe, I can confirm that. His cell battery died and he didn't realise. He's quite clearly exhausted and ill. I think he has been quite intelligent and reasonable since I was first allocated his case. I think he'll eventually talk about it. I don't know if I can convince him to go back there, though.

Stick it out for awhile, but don't wipe him out. See if you can get someone to be there with him when you leave. You might have to try again tomorrow. Don't push him or you'll lose his trust. He'll stop thinking you're on his side. Unless you want me to come talk to him with you.

Just give me some more time with him for now. I'll see how I go. He might ultimately feel more confident talking you if he starts to swing the way of wanting to go.
