"Too nice to talk to."

Who: Casper Price and Autumn MacDonald
What: Catch-ups
Where: Coffee Spot of Awesome
When: Wednesday lunch

This was actually Casper and Autumn's coffee date rescheduled no less than five times. He had been so sick with that flu bug that every time he made arrangements for a day or two thinking he would be better, he still found himself mostly bedridden, feeling sick and feverish. It was a nasty one, but he had finally began to feel relatively human again the day before yesterday but didn't stupidly get up on the go right away, and rested until his fever was gone. He had actually been sick enough to lose a bit of weight that he hadn't really had to lose because his appetite had been wiped completely along with his energy. That was the last time ever he was going swimming with dolphins, or any sealife, really.

But now here they were in their favourite coffee spot having just greeted each other with hugs and cheek kisses, and then placed their order for their usual. They took their seat at the table running along the window so they could people watch while they had lunch. Unlike the usual chocolately, creamy, sugary drink Casper would usually opt for, he had ordered tea this time because he didn't quite trust his stomach entirely and he had enough of being embarrassingly sick in public. "So, what the fuck are you going to do with your time now you've been spectacularly fired, darling?" he asked, already starting to make a little fort out of the sugar sachets.

Maybe Autumn had outgrown the majority of her diva tendencies, but her usual beverage of choice was pretty diva in nature... An extra hot chai latte with extra foam and soy milk. Some would call it diva like... Autumn called it knowing what she wanted and making sure she got it... To-may-to, to-mah-to. But either way, she was thrilled to see Casper, especially after having felt like she hadn't seen him in ages. The poor guy had been horribly sick, which Autumn had found out when she called him to set this coffee date up, and he'd sounded like a phone sex operator. Her first thought had been that he probably had gotten too excited deep-throating someone the night before, but apparently, that was not, in fact, the issue at all. He had been, in his words, at death's door with the flu of doom and death.

She had to shake her head in amusement at Casper's line of questioning. He was never one to tone himself or his thoughts down for anyone or any reason, so she wasn't really caught off guard to hear him put it quite so bluntly. "I guess go back on the hunt for another job," she said with a shrug. "I mean, it's not like my rent pays itself on the basis of my stunning good looks, now, is it?" Her tone was light, but she still wasn't totally sure about that whole thing. Brendan seemed to think there was a chance that she'd be back in her role in Footloose, but for the time being, she had to look. It wasn't even like she could go back to her old role in Cinderella, considering that was one of Caden's shows, too.
