He had spoken in-depth to Liam about how Merlin went both in surgery and Recovery while they were trying to manage his inevitable post-operative vomiting, that had been a known issue for Merlin since he had his tonsils out when he was a child. It was common and Recovery staff knew how to manage it. Once Merlin's sickness was managed with counteractive medication, he was much more lucid. But anyone could be scattered after anaesthetic until their system cleared it completely.
