I knew you might think that but it's a legitimate delay. Our original flight was cancelled so we're waiting on another. I don't know how long it's going to be, love. I'm so sorry.

I wouldn't mind. I feel like we should've done that first. Maybe I'm just a prude? It feels like everyone loves casual sex and I don't get it. Ibuprofen and paracetamol. I'm going to be there. I'm going to feel like shit a year or two down the track knowing I missed you getting married if I don't. I'm sorry, I'm trying. Everything's just so quick.

A prude because you prefer to have sex with someone you're in a relationship with? That's not prudish, Pax. A lot of people feel like that. I can list multiple friends of mine who feel the same. Pretty much most of my friends, actually. You've had a bad experience too and things were tough with us. You need to find your feet again and you're trying. So, it didn't work. Try something else. Ask him out. See if you can get something with codeine in it before you fly. Or get something that'll help you sleep on the flight. Drink plenty of fluids. You'll be dried out with flying and jetlag. I guess it just doesn't feel quick to Damien and me, but I understand it does for everyone else. We just want to put it right, start fresh. But if you get delayed for a lot longer, I'll postpone. I'm not doing it without you.
