Good, I'm glad. Sorry our school infected you with germs. That sucked. But I wanted to ask you something.

It's okay. I know a lot of people have caught it. Just bad luck. That seems to be my MO lately. Sure, what is it?

Cooper and I have so far dodged the bullet. Touch wood. Okay, is it just ballet and ballroom dancing, or can you do other stuff too?

I hope you guys don't get it. It was nasty. I do ballet and ballroom in professional competition, but I can do everything but tap. I don't really know much about musical theatre either. I can't act to save myself.

What about flashmobs?

Would you be interested in joining a Christmas one for charity? But just so I don't throw you in any deep ends here, it's going to be pretty huge and televised. It's for the celebrity charity Christmas concert in New York. Justin will be leading it.

Oh my god, like the Ferris Bueller one? I saw that on TV. He would really want me there? Are you doing it?

LOL yes. Just like that, only bigger. You'll come to see Jus kind of completely pwns the bringing 80s movies to life thing. He told me about it and I'll definitely be there, and I mentioned you. The only thing he said was it's pacey and he didn't want to throw you into flashmobbing if you were only professionally trained for classical.

Nick and Dani are taking me to see Footloose this week. I can't wait. No, I'm actually trained in most forms of dance, I just do ballet and ballroom in comps. Holy shit, are you sure he'd want me there?

Footloose is going to blow your mind. You'll love it. Even if you don't do musical theatre yourself, Justin will blow your mind with his dancing. I used to be in the chorus of it until I broke my leg. He would! You should come, it'll be awesome. All the Footloose cast will be there, Kyan too. He used to be Justin's understudy. You'll be able to meet everyone.

I've been wanting to see it forever. Dani got us front row seats through Justin's dad. I love musical theatre even if I can't perform like that. And now you got Dirty Dancing? I saw you at the theatre the day Nick came to see Logan. So, what do I have to do for it?

Even better. I promise, you'll love it. You'll see why Justin won the Tony. I did! Totally lucked out with that. I got the role of Billy, Johnny's cousin. Kyan is Johnny, he was pegged by Caden, the producer of this and Footloose. He's a ballroom dancer too. One of the nicest and sweetest guys you will ever meet. He's dating Autumn, who plays Ariel in Footloose. We're all sort of interlinked. There are going to be some rehearsal sessions to learn the dance, which Logan is choreographing. It should be fun, getting all Christmassy.

That's amazing. You must've been talented enough to get a support role like that. Everyone has just been so nice here. I have to admit, I didn't know if I would like it, but everyone's so kind. But I'd love to be involved in the invite is there. A flashmob would be like a bucketlist thing. Is Justin full-on to work with?

Lucky mostly. But Caden's lovely, and he likes to give people a go. Justin can be intense sometimes if people can't work up to his level of skill, but mostly he's just a huge goofball and a lot of fun when he's well. Everyone loves him for a reason, we just all have an awareness that sometimes, he is sick and needs sort of an extra perimeter of personal space. It's easy to tell when he's like that, though.

I'm glad he gave you a go. It's an incredible feeling if you score a part or win an award for what you love doing. How can I tell if he's like that? I don't want to piss him off.

So, SO true. Plus, my dad's sick, so I'm over the moon I get this chance to make him proud. Okay, well, you know Justin's bipolar, right? Sometimes, he can have his manic days. He can be all over the place, talks fast, seems to have the energy levels of the Energizer Bunny. He never sits still like that. He fiddles with stuff or he paces. It's when he's depressed that he's sort of the opposite to that. He goes quiet, he pulls away from people. You can kind of see it in his eyes. Lately, though, he has been telling people when he's feeling off the radar like that. Before, it could be up and down without warning. It's nothing to be fearful of, though, like the stigma dictates. He's just a complex guy and you can see he has issues with his moods.

Yes, I read the article in that magazine about him at the time he revealed it. Okay, I wouldn't want to complicate anything for him if I'm someone he's never worked with.
