When: Saturday morning
Angela held a maternity dress out from the hanger and gave Jazz a skeptical look. "I feel like an interloper being in here. For one, I have no bump yet. And two, I'm not really going to be a mommy. The boys said they wanted to pay for any maternity shit I needed, but there's no way I'm going to let them do that. This is all kind of full-on..." She was looking around, feeling at a loss here. It was inevitable she was going to get a bump, but she wasn't sure this type of shopping was doing anything to life her spirits. Mostly, it was making her wonder if the surrogacy was one of the reasons shit with Emily failed. She wasn't really dwelling on that. It was what it was. It was just part of a bigger picture that had her feeling a bit miserable right now.
"Pregnant chicks must spend a small fortune here. It's not like they're going to wear it for much more than a few months. I don't see the point." She more had her own sense of style. It was more on the quirky side than the label-dripping designer stuff this place seemed to be aiming for. "I wonder how many preggo people have barfed in here. I mean, the odds are pretty stacked, right? I'm definitely feeling more on the nauseous side than the not."
