Beau had enjoyed every second of this wedding. It was the first time he had been out socialising since the cancer really impacted on his health and he was mostly bedridden. So many people he cared about and missed over the preceding months were here, and they were all having a ball. Then there was Jesse. Kindhearted, selfless, sweet, compassionate, caring Jesse who had been home nursing Beau since he was discharged after the transplant and got the remission news. They had been good friends before, and Beau was friends with Jace too, but the intimacy of the home nursing arrangement meant he and Jesse had confided in each other a lot about many private things, and Beau knew how much this day meant to both Jesse and Jace. It was an honour for him to be here, and it was even more pride knowing Austin had designed their wedding outfits.
But it had been exhausting. That he couldn't deny, nor did he need to. Everyone knew what he had been through, and they were knew he was still recovering. Which meant he was still sick and weak. That didn't at all stop him enjoying himself. Plus, having hair back was icing on the cake. He was used to not having any. In the grander scheme of things, it was one of the smaller issues he had needed to deal with. But, just like last time, it had grown back blonde and curly, even lighter than the first time. He snorted and gave Austin a side-eyed look with a smirk. "I'll be more celebrating when I get my pubes back."
