"You should get some relief within the hour. Your system's probably all out of whack anyway, if you're not well on top of the jetlag and migraine. We just need to keep an eye on your symptoms and weather it as it comes. I had it twice. The first was early in the pandemic and it was a pretty nasty strain, so I could barely get out of bed for a good week. The second time was much more recent and just like a bad cold. It didn't last long. It depends on the strain and how your immunity generally is. But I remember you telling me when you were in the ER for the migraine that day that you don't get ill with other things very often, so you've got being fit and healthy on your side. It's just a pain in the ass having to isolate until you're testing negative. Then I'd give it another couple of days on top of that before being in a room with Reecy. If this is early stages of the infection, I'd say stomach upset, aches and pains, sore throat, and fever will be most of it. You could develop a cough. You don't have to worry, I'll be right here. I've had a lot of experience with all levels of severity with the infection. I know the red flags and warning signs. If you test positive, you just have to rest up in bed, try to keep the fluids up the best you can, and let me take care of you. You'll probably mostly just want to sleep. You don't need to keep apologising, love. It's more than okay. You're not whining at all. I haven't heard you whine once since we started dating. You're just frustrated and feeling crappy. I'm here to vent to if you want to." Jude softly combed his fingers through Winston's hair, tucking some of the curls behind his ear. "Do you want me to start running the bath? It's a big tub, it might take a little bit to fill. Do you want bubbles or oil or bath salts in it, or is fragranced things too much after you've had a migraine? Bearing in mind, if this is covid, your sense of smell and taste might be weakened too."
