Hey... Is everything okay? What's going on?

Well, see, Cal was going to come home to surprise me. Only he texted me when he was in Madrid and said he was feeling crap and wanted me to pick him up at the airport. So, I did, and he was sick, but he wouldn't let me take him to a doctor. I brought him home, but he kept getting worse and I had to call 911. Now he's in hospital and they've put him in an isolated ward.

What's wrong with him? What are the doctors saying? Why is he isolated?

They need to take precautions in case it's something he picked up in Africa. They even had to alert the airline. It's an infection of some sort because he's got a raging fever. He was even hallucinating because of it. They're doing tests.

Fuck... I'm going to tell Caden there's been a family emergency and come to the hospital. There's no way I'll be able to perform tonight while I'm worried about Cal... And you.

I'm okay. Just kind of freaked out. He's a stubborn shit. I just hope it's nothing serious. I mean, I tried interrogating him about whether he slept with anyone over there and maybe wasn't protected, but he puked on my arm. I let Jesse know, and the next thing I knew, Jace's big brother was there to help and had Cal signed to a really great doctor called Alex.

Jesse told me when I told him the news that we'd be gaining more than one brother... Him, Jace, Evan, and Christian. Sounds like they're already kicking into brother protectiveness. ♥ Is Cal scared, or too sick to be scared?
